There are a number of handy photography calculators available online, including the ones on this page (external link). About halfway down the page is a javascript calculator for "Dimensional Field of View." You can experiment with various values in the "Distance to Subject" input box to help find an answer to your question.

In some quick experimentation using that calculator, it looks like for a 1.6 crop camera shooting in landscape orientation @ 200mm, a distance of 80 feet will result in a horizontal FOV of 9', and a vertical FOV of 6'. You can iterate the distance value to find a value for a portrait orientation.

Nice drawing! :D

Although you have already been given a good answer,

I usually use my 70-200 at about 15-20 feet (20-25 for 1.6x) as the 200 end gives me head shots and the 70 end then gives me full body shots. After all that is what zoom is for.
Note the word "about" some people are shorter then others and I haven't actually measured the distance. In fact my average model I work with seems to be 5' 4".
