I misread that at first and thought it said hand held from the moon! No idea what it is but sure is a great shot - has a winter feel to it.

The conical bill says finch - my guess would be an American Goldfinch.

That's what I'm leaning towards. Colors seem a bit dull for Goldfinch, but closest match I can find.
