I made a duplicate layer and chaged to blending mode to screen to lighten everything. I then added a layer mask and masked out the background. Basically, lightening only the giraffe. I didn't get in close enough to the giraffe, so that may be why it looks like it is glowing. I was in a hurry to get it done.
