A few months ago someone on an internet forum said they spent three grand on photo equipment and I vaugly recall him mentioning buying a lens that specializes in B&W photography. Does anyone have any clue as to which lens this was?

Maybe it was "I just bought the Canon 5D and a lens, specializing in black and white photography"- as in, he'd just bought those, and would be specializing in B&W. Mac users swear by their computers.
