I can't view the Fredmiranda site...probably have to sign in to see it...

Why (again because I can't find it in all these pages) do you want 3 MKII's? Instead of a 5D?

I find myself using the 5D less and less. I am not sure what to do with it, Dante wants me to trade him the 5D and 1DMIIN for a 1DsMII

you already answered your own question. if you find yourself not using the 5D alot and you feel like you can take advantage of another 1D, just go for it. however, if it were me, i would rather have the combo of 1 FF body and 1 fast body for sports.

That's the trade I think you should make!! You'd be basically giving yourself 3x 8.2mp bodies with the other one. This way you'd have the 1D (fast, weather sealed, good photo quality), the 1DMKIIN, (VERY FAST, weather sealed, excellen photo quality) and the 1DS (4fps so faster than the 5D, weather sealed and FANTASTIC photo quality). This is a WIN WIN trade.

I think your right actually, I will probably keep the 5D. It only has 2000 clicks on it and I have the grip too.

If I could trade my 1D and 30D for another 1DMII I would make the trade with Dante in a heartbeat. Hmmmmmm ;)

The good news is I don't have to milk these lame jokes for a laugh. I can just enjoy my drink.

Alright my friends, i need you opinions/advice on this. This guy is trading his 1DMII with 15,000 shots taken for a 5D. Here is the link, is it worth doing. I could always buy another 5D later on if the need arises

http://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/452887 (external link)

I saw that ad...I don't know how serious this guy is about trading...seems like a dumb move on his part to swap cameras just before going on a trip like that. I also saw a 1Ds for sale at KEH for a decent price....that is looking like the deal of the day.

Morning All...
Nice to see we're consistant....
a: No the 24-70 isn't as good as the 24-105. YES it is!
b: Let's recommend somthing really silly (as in a $14 tripod) just for fun (my fav. of the night)
c: Try to convince Calico that he's A: getting a great deal or B: getting the shaft...

Did I miss anything else?

Wahahahahaa.. glad you liked it ;)

He DID say that cost was a concern!

I think it comes from my day job, when the client has beaten upon you long and hard enough, give him exactly what he ASKS FOR, not what he WANTS

No, you're not a bad client Bill, just teasing you and your 300/2.8 you lucky dog! :p

I need a latte, make it a double ;)

Grande Caramel Mac!! The Caramel Mac is the epitome of all that is Holy!!

.....and extra caramel!

I've drunk so much of it I can even tell when they are deviating from the 'gold standard' mac. Two shots of espresso, one vanilla, cappucino-style milk and the caramel on top laid on thick.

Add no additional sugar or you will regret it.
