The good news is I don't have to milk these lame jokes for a laugh. I can just enjoy my drink.

I saw that ad...I don't know how serious this guy is about trading...seems like a dumb move on his part to swap cameras just before going on a trip like that. I also saw a 1Ds for sale at KEH for a decent price....that is looking like the deal of the day.

I am thinking of waiting to see what Canon releases next before making any decisions. If they release a 1DsMII successor, then the 1DsMII goes down in price. If they release anything, older camera's go down in price. Should I wait and see

I have a macro question for you, I have the 100 as well. How can you make the macro more than 1:1, will kenko tubes make it 2:1 by chance

hmmm, you are asking the wrong person because my experience with macro is very limited. however, i do know that using extension tubes will increase the 1:1 but i am not sure by how much. i also know that i had a hard time focusing with a set of kenko tubes on my 100 but i am sure that it was because i am not used to it...

btw, if you are serious about macro and want higher than 1:1 mag, check out the canon MP-E65 lens. it is MF only and it is hard to master but it is amazing and can do 5:1 :)

Yes you ;)

Your old thread resurfaced somehow, so I read it even though it was backdated. I have a 70-200 myself. Nice....

How was yours wide open? Good?
