Its a waterfall from Maui. I posted it in the Travel & Landscapes section. Someone said the water is blown out. Doesn't that happen when you use 1" shutters to get the flowing water effect. Someone else's advice was a much faster shutter, but then no flowing water effect "You are going to fall off a cliff trying to get a better shot someday"- My hopeful and loving wife

(maybe bad example but I want to avoid pointing out the obviously guilty) I THINK the 5D IS criminally bum rapped!!! It's the favorite camera I've ever used (though I do miss the speed of the MKIIN and I've not used the DsMKII). I love the results it gives me. calicokat wrote in post #2021010 You really think Canon will release a 40D at this point. I really think we will see a 1DsMIIN or something first. The 30D is still so new, they wouldn't replace it yet would they ![]() No, I think they are coming out with a 5D replacement...and a 100-400L replacement (because I recently purchased both and everytime that happens, Canon updates the product) I would be on the Have COFFEE FIRST list... Robert Lay told me, when I asked this same question....to expose for the highlights, shoot in raw to adjust the rest and use a polarizer to be able to slow down the exposure some....so you can use a faster shutter speed w/o blowing the highlights... ..
