I am a Corrections Officer, I take care of those individuals who do not like normal life and prefer jail  Its actually a really good job. I was not joking about the circus reference, it really is entertaining from time to time

Wow. What correctional facility do you work at? I was once a manager for a LARGE institutional feeding company. We handled the food that went to the military and correctional facilities. LOL, boxes were marked: "FOR MILITARY AND CORRECTIONAL FACILITIES ONLY. I would hate to tell you the quality that was inside. :(

Bring your lunch man. Yes, definitely Brown Bag it!!!

Yep, I am 30. No military, I started in Law Enforcement right out of college at the age of 21

I love my 400L. It took me a couple of weeks to get used to it but I will never part with it. It is very light, excellent for inflight shots, very fast auto focus.

I always shoot with it wide open. It is very sharp. I find my best images of stationary small birds are taken in Av Mode at ISO 100 and around 1/250 sec.

I wish I was 30 again and had your gear! :)

Great lenses and I'm totally jealous, but happy for you. Those 2 lenses you posted pictures for the 400 and 300 are not in my near future, but I would love to have them for when my sons are older and playing soccer on the big field. I actually saw someone with the 300 2.8 at a local AAA baseball game two weeks ago. Very jealous. Almost went over to the guy to mug him. I had my 24-70, I think I could have really hurt him, though.

And Dante, who are you kidding? You've got great stuff too!

I'm enjoying my 70-200 f4, as I'm a poor working mom (not really, but I like everyone thinking I'm struggling). I've never had a 200mm range lens that was worth anything since the 80-200 was purchased years ago and not USM even. I can't even imagine how fun 300 2.8 would be. I was watching the US Open yesterday when Sharapova climbed up the stands to see her father and had to move 10 photographers out of her way. There were sure a lot of white lenses there. I'm sure some of them had the 300. Oh, I did see one guy with the 70-200 f4 and I cheered and slapped my husband to say, "That's my lens!" Newbies. :)

What I would give to have Sharapova climbing past me while holding a 300 :D
