First Shots With 17-55 F/2.8 IS

Sold my 17-40 F/4L and 70-200 F/4L to fund this lens and I am happy I did. This is the most hand holdable lens I think there is. I shoot wedding from time to time and this is going to earn its keep there. Here are some sample shots with exif data. All shots with the 30D and hand held. Let me know what you think :)

IS is amazing at 1/10. 5D and 85L, now that's a dream combo for portraits.

Well I did, and to boot, the calico was a female, which is extremely rare. One of the best damn cats I have ever had. Now I have a tonkanese.

Well my calico found me and adopted me. No lie. Damn cat was pregnant!! Got pregnant twice before I could fix her. Boy did I fix her :):)
