But that's all mentioned in another thread as we all know the teacher says no telephoto lenses for portraits.

I do love the results of your lens and when I get some thicker pockets I really think it's something worth buying. BYW, let your wife know she's a beautiful subject and the lens was only the tool used to capture that.
