Stayed around 10hours at Silverstone, ran out of battery and got so tired I had to go home.
Couldn't get any decent action shots in pitch dark without a decent flash.

C&C welcomed

You did good, I tried my Ist flash photos on saturday night and I was fairly pleased with the quality. I also had to go at 12 ish as me feet were dropping off with walking the circuit all day.
Did you get any of my mates porsche .. car 34. ?

Nicely done. I tried a few flash shots myself although i doubt they're any good

I stayed right through the night and awoke to the thickest fog i've ever seen this morning. Once the sun burned it away the weather was fantastic.

The Red Bull liveried Z4M was overall winner by the way :)

Thanks guys,
I left at about 2am, wanted to stay overnight and drive to Donington in the morning for the Renault World Series and back to Silverstone for the last couple of hours of the 24hr race but I was far too tired and ran out of battery and memory card space.

keith
I got one shot of your mate's Porsche going off road :p

Unfortunately as you said he didn't race long enough so I wasn't able to get anymore shots of him.

One guy I knew from a car club forum was competing along with my track driving instructor Simon Mason as their team manager.

You'll noticed their Civic Type-R had flashing Max Power valve caps and wing mirrors in the night:lol:

The Dullar MS Z4M was defintely the 'phattest' car of the race, sounds very aggressive going through the pit straight.
Not suprised it won though.

the car 88 is the prosport LM3000, my mate the driver of porsche 34 has one.
I on the other hand am greedy and have 2 ultimas which are just as quick as the prosport.
The original design of the prosport was by Lee Noble, hence the similar bodywork.Noble of course makes the excellent Noble M12 etc etc
