Absolutely gorgeous young girl and the picture is perfect in my mind. I even like the lights in her eyes..........gives them a sparkle.

Nice shot. Those catch lights from a ring light? Don't want to be her Daddy when 16 rolls around.

I thank you all. Yes, the main light is a "Beauty Dish" and while it gives an unusual catchlight with a ringlight shape I light the lighting. She is at an impatient time in her life so I take what I can get.

FUN, FUN, FUN!! WOW, you got a WHOLE 5 minutes??! My 3 1/2 yr old barely gives me 5 seconds. Really hard to get of her right now.

Thank you for sharing your Princess with us! Great shot!

What a pretty young lady.

May be my monitor, but looks a tad soft. I'm currently viewing it on my IBM STINKPAD though which may account for that.

As to the beauty dish catchlights, it's the first thing I noticed also and not sure I like it, but that's just me. Seems to be a poor man's ring light which gives a better catch light.

Keep up the good work, Dwight.

mark

JMW, I am spoilt (sic) 'cause she used to love to pose for 30 minutes, dancing and striking poses, etc.,etc. like this

IMAGE: http://www.palsgaard-mccann.net/FamilyPictures/Anna/Anna30Months/Anna0062-400.jpg

or this
IMAGE: http://www.palsgaard-mccann.net/FamilyPictures/Anna/Anna30Months/Anna0009-400.jpg
but now I am limited, sigh.

Thank you, Art.

Mark, it is the light from the beauty disk that is so good but it does seem "distract" a lot of folks who prefer all catchlights to be the same. :-) Yes, it is "unnatural"!

Cute shots Dwight. The last two and especially the last one are really great. Lighting looks dead-on.

That last one is a kick! She's adorable. The lighting really highlights her eyes. Nice captures!
