No. You are paying a lot for a very ordinary set of kit, most of which is low grade.

Avoid!

You are far better off buying from B&H or one of the other established retailers.

I have to agree with Steve. You can pick up the 20D body from B&H for under $1000 and get the lenses you need.

Why not as other posters type go to an established camera place.
Maybe some of ths E-bay offering package isn't really necessary for you either-+

Well, believe it or not, 97.9% feedback on Ebay isn't stellar. It's not horrible, just not good enough for me to trust sending someone $1568. Look at the negs before buying ... only you can tell if it's a risk that you're willing to take.

By the way, most of the "adders" in the offer are junk IMO. You can get the camera with the three Canon lenses from B&H for $1444.85.

The picture shown of the 28-105 is for the least expensive one - $124.95
The 20D plus 18-55 is worth $1159.95
The 75-300 f/4.0-5.6 III is $159.95

Also, none of the above Canon lenses are superb, and you may be happier with buying just the 20D ($989.95) with one good lens for now, such as the Tamron 28-75 f/2.8 ($379). I don't know how picky you are or what you want to shoot though ... so what do I know :)

Also, if you are from North America check to ensure that the 20D comes with a USA/Canada warranty. It's not apparent from the add if it is a USA/Canada model or if it is grey market.

Do you have a film SLR? If you do, what lenses do you use the most?

The three images you displayed could probably all be taken with the Tamron 28-75 f/2.8. The stream photo isn't that wide and the flower isn't "macro". If you need something wider you could look at the Canon 17-85 f/4-5.6 IS ($509.95), which is reported to be a pretty decent lens. The Tamron would be better for low light situations, while the 17-85 gives up low level performance but is much wider.

An awesome kit might even be a Rebel XT with a 24-105 f/4L IS :) . With the way the XT has dropped in price you could pick this up for $1779 at B&H. If you are on a tight budget I feel you'll get more bang from the buck by going with the XT and a good lens verus going with the 20D and low end consumer glass. There are a few lower cost "gems" out there like the Tamron 28-75 f/2.8, unfortunately I only have limited experience with them.

One lens that I own that is decent (but I don't use it much since I picked up the Canon 24-75 f/2.8L) is the Canon 28-105 f/3.5-4.5 II USM ($230). It's a tiny bit soft until stopped down to f/8 or at f-stops greater than f/11, but is one of the best bangs for the buck that Canon has. Maybe take a look at the lens sticky on this forum to get some ideas then check www.bhphotovideo.com (external link) to check prices.
