I'm doing a 50th aniversary portrait for my inlaws. Here's the retouched and original image.

Unfortunately I had them too close to the background...

I'd appreciate your C&C.

Beyond being too close to the background... it looks good to me. Would have been nice if they would have been wearing something a bit more colorful maybe :)

I agree with fi20100 that more color would be nice! With their skin color a different background would perhaps be more fitting too. It is a great shot though, just my thoughts as to what might make it better
