Shalonda Young: Lead Vocalist with A Touch of Soul

This is the image we chose to use for Shalonda's biography page at A Touch of Soul. This is the first time I have preferred an image converted from RAW over the jpeg my camera created. While beautiful, Shalonda was very difficult to shoot: when she smiled her cheek bones became very prominent, if she smiled too big she got "gummy" and if too tight her upper lip flattened. We shot and shot and wound up with about four that were good. I tried a large number of lighting configurations.

Eric, the band leader, would like me to build up the number of photographs on their website since this is the most sought after item when he is trying to get bookings. So I added one of the other good images of Shalonda "Shilo" Young to their gallery page. Eventually they want a gallery page for each member and then several for the band as a whole.
