I like it! The WB is not accurate, but it makes it look like it was taken in a gym. If you ask me I wouldn't change it.

Great shot! Lighting is tough because you have different types (temperatures) of light present. It looks like to me his shoulders and chest got the flourescent lighting and his shorts and face got the 430 EX. If you shot raw you could change the white balence to flourescent but I think that would mess up the face and shorts. Can you do part of the print with one WB and part with another?

Thanks for the comments everyone.

I didn't have a lot of time set this up. He had just a finished a sparring session and we were on our way out so I just quickly assembled the flash unit, focused and fired.. I didn't think too much of the shoot as he wanted to leave. I wish I could have used some of the video lights we had but i didn't have time to move them. I only shot about 5 pics and they all look the same.. it was interesting to see the results of the mixed light.

Maliepet is is name and he's been doing MT for about 20 yrs. He's had about 200 pro fights and is just starting to fight in MMA. I think he needs to work on his ground game though. His MT is scary though!

Great environmental portrait! Only suggestion is too much up top - would have been nice to have a little more shorts and a little less back wall... but since you can't shoot again crop a little tighter to his head and you're good to go...

Sweet shot.

Heres a little more on Malaipet Sitpraprom for those that are curious. Hes a very well respected Muay Thai practitioner who should stick to Muay Thai, but of course, everyone is going where the money is, and at the moment it seems to be MMA.
