hopefully they will get better sleeping arrangements before too long
especially as the Winter sets in
:-|

some of the bags seems to be on an airport trolly
although the park is not near an airport

I deliberately left part of the man walking on the right of the picture to show what the other lady was looking towards

That is a quality shot and tells a big story. Well done, Marie.

Nice photo Marie- the people around him say as much about the situation as he and his bags do.

Looks like she just spent her life's savings on a plane ticket out of town, arrived in a new city, got a trolley for her things, and just kept walking and walking until she collapsed.

Nobody has yet mentioned the frame - that is great! And in full contrast with the topic of the picture (or maybe not, she might have very colourful dreams ...)

:)
seems like you could be right , thanks Craig

it is a long way to the large airports around London (Heathrow, Stansted , Gatwick)
to where 'she' is sleeping there on the bench

unless she came through London City Airport
(it's a very handy place to land)

it would be the nearest for her as the picture was taken in St James Park right in the city of London

I wasn't too sure if it were a man or a woman, mainly because of the big boots (and hands)

thank you Olli
I was trying to add a comfort zone for 'her' in the framing, I think
It was only later I remembered I done it for a man on a bench too (a few years ago). I put a 'soft edge' frame around him as he lay asleep in the grounds of a famous castle.
