Cute shots.
As far as the selective coloring goes... I would desaturate the pic so the color isnt that intense. I feel that its a bit overpowering. I prefer color accents if they are just a hint of color ...

I like them all...most of the time I prefer B&W myself. I personally don't care mush for the eyes in the first one.

Thank you all for the comments. I was just trying it out in the first one. some like some don't either way the client has both as options.

As far as the selective color. My form of choice is to make a duplicate layer. then desaturate the top layer and adjust levels. then I erase (the top layer) where I want color to shine through. kinda like making a window for the color to show. it works best for me and you can zoom in super close to be accurate.

Very nice job! I am not a fan of selective coloring, but I like the capture on 1. 2is gorgeous. On 4 I think I would try a tighter crop, a bit off the top and right of the photo. Great capture with the tongue out. :) Love the next two and the last one is a very creative shot. Way to go!
