First time i see this Warbler and I feel very fortunate to have been in the right place at the right time. I triple checked my guides and there seems little doubt to its identity. I would love to get a closer shot but I will remain thankfull for the present. These are 50% crops and there is some warmth and shadows but I don't care ;) Canon 30D and 400mm F5.6L with Manfroto Monopod and Head. ISO 320 at 1/800 sec at F8 for the first two and F5.6 for the last.

No mysteries here!;)

I too would be happy with these. Even though a twig runs through its face, I still prefer the first one in this series.

Nice catch Gary. I've never seen this warbler before. I prefer the first and last image for the pose. Good shooting.

I'll take these shots in a heartbeat. There are always leaves and brances between me and the warbler, whenever i see one. You did great here Gary.

Nice job Gary! Looks like the warblers are becoming more active up there. With all the different warblers out there I can never seem to find them. I only have a few in my portfolio.

Beautiful captures Gary. Just like Fee, I'd take a shot given the chance.

I did not try s/h on the body and perhaps i will give that a go during the long dark days of winter:rolleyes: Its a good point. I had the flash on the camera but it was off as i had just been shooting at eye level and there was no need. All of a sudden this one appears and it was all I could do to keep track of its flighty movements:D Thanks for the comment and feedback Tommy.

:D Wow,,,not every day I make the Blackburnian list:D Thanks Marc!! Did Ted tell you I got these in my backyard;)

And thans to Dennis, Wayne, Dan, Blue, Reigh, Trevor, canondslruser, Fee, Zip, Reyno, and Ted for the fine comments:D

Here is one more...80% crop:rolleyes:
