Ok, so I am about to pull the trigger on the 70-200L IS. I took a trip to Keeble and Shugart in Palo Alto, CA. today. When I put the 70-200L on my camera is seemed to be loose on the mount. I could giggle it ever so slightly. I have had no lens that does this.

Assuming this is a shelf lens that gets wear, it may be fine. But I want to know if others have had this problem on a 350D.

My 70-200 f/4L has a slight bit of movement in the mount also with my 30D and previous XT. Haven't missed a shot yet with it though so it must not be an issue.

It's not nearly as tight as the 24-70 I have, but it is tight. Does slip on easily, though. Thank heavens it's not heavier.

I noticed this on 30D. Just upgraded to from 350D. Hasn't impacted shots. I will ask local shop I purchased from though.

No wiggle on my 5D. I tested this exact same lens in the exact same store a month ago. Bought one, too.:D

I know I will. When I put a Canon 24-70L on my camera and looked thought the viewfinder. I knew it right then and there. I understood what L is all about. But my wallet doesn't agree with my eyes.;)
