I take a lot of photos of my child in the house, most of the time its at night with normal house lighting such as lamps and tungson lighting. I aways have what I call a red hue or red cast to all my photos. What am I doing wrong and what might I do to correct my problems?

Which WB settings do you use?
Did you try Tungsten?

AWB=auto white balance
Light bulb=tungsten
oblong light bulb=fluorescent
sun=sunny day
cloud=cloudy day

usually displayed in secondary display on DSLR
and on the corners off the display in P&S

W/ DSLR you can correct WB issue if you shoot in RAW during Conversion/processing

It would be much easier if you told us which camera and which image editing software you use.
Can you show us an example?

I am using the Canon 20D and Photoshop CS 2. I had white balance set at 5200 which was dead wrong. Does everyone think that is my issue?

Make sure you double check that all your lights are really tungsten.
