My 100-300 USM works fine with my A2E, but when I try to use it with my 20D it won't auto focus after a few seconds, and then locks up. What am I doing or not doing?

Yes, it is the older 100-300 ... maybe a good excuse to buy a newer lense. Thanks for the response. Dan
