First attempt at bird in flight, red kite

Hi all went to Gilgin farm in Wales in the summer , they feed the Red Kites I managed this shot from a hide

Camera 350D
lens 70 200 F4 L this lens is brillaint I managed to get this shot the first time I used the Lens

Sigma 105, 150 and Canon 100L Macro
Canon 70 - 200 F4L,

Nice looking shot, birds in flight can be tough, but you nailed it here

Nice work Pete. I've been to Gigrin Farm three times myself and it's great for getting close to these spectacular birds. Any more shots to post ?

Thanks guys I managed this one as well these were the only 2 uncropped ones I got but am really pleased with them.

Two great shots of this Red Kite, the first one looks like a stealth bomber.

great shots. especially for your first try. i had trouble keeping the darn things in the frame when i started out.
