Anyone living in Massachusetts see tonight's Chronicle on WCVB channel 5? It was all about photography...from the perspective of various style of photogs. It was fantastic. I'm downloading via tivo now...it's a keeper.
It was cool to see how a news photog handles a day where he has to shoot a "weather" feature photo, i.e. his editor told him...go out and shoot something for the weather page. Talk about an assignment that is open ended. He ended up grabbing a shot of a woman and her dog walking along the beach. He was using a Canon...looked like a 5d. The woman had her dog on a long leash and he was walking backwards in front of the dog. He was holding the camera low and using what looked like a wide angle type lense. The shot was fantastic...it was taken from a low perspective and gave the dog a long snout type look. The woman was in the distance over the shoulder of the dog. It was great.
Anyone else see it? Thoughts?
