Did these as a favor for somebody on the proviso that I could use the images for promotional reasons (advertising reasons etc).

I don't think it was my best ever shoot. Their place was a little small. I was tired - just finished night shift with a helluva night.

Anyway would appreciate some C&C - feeling kinda ugg about it:

Thanks in advance.

I viewed most of the pictures and I was pleased with what I saw. I like how they are smiling on the ones I saw. I think you did a pretty good job.

Hi Art,

Thanks for the feedback - I was just a little annoyed that I couldn't see both eyes clearly on the older girl - no matter what I did she kept turning her head so the eye was shadowed again and again. I suppose I could burn/dodge it a little to bring it out a bit more, but it's just not the instant WOW that I was hoping for.

Add to that the fact that the older one was sunburnt while the other one looked jaundiced - didn't make my post-processing any easier!

But again, thanks for the input.

Nice series, but I think these could be improved with a little more fill lighting or a reflector to open up the shadow side of the face. The predominant broad lighting leaves too much shadow in the far eye-socket, as you've found.

I would also remove those shots where the girl looks tired of posing. You have so many great shots you can afford to be a little more selective.

Thanks Stevie!

Thanks also to Steve - the tired shots were meant to be the 'moody' B&W shots but point taken and some shots removed. Also was a little more selective with the shots as I think I ended up converting stacks from Aperture instead of the 'prime' image from the stack.

I only used three lights for the setup - I wish now at the very least I had used a reflector if not a fourth (fill) light. You live and learn I guess.

Thanks again all!
