Several weeks ago I posted a series of photos ( Blue Vultures) that showed a Blue Jay moulting and he was not a pretty sight. Lots of character though. A couple of weeks ago his head feathers were coming back in and he stopped by for a cooling down in the bird bath. The dripper was on so water drops would intermitemtly drop down and splash. This sequence put a smile on my face so I decided to share.. A little humour on Tuesday never hurt :D

I just searched for your last shot Gary of this bird and found it, the one with a peanut and what a difference, the head feathers are coming back nicely.
This is a very funny shot to see him enjoying his bath, wonderful shots, well done.

Nice job of capturing the moment. The expression on his face also gave me a chuckle. The seond shot shows him in a somewhat "better light" :), I love the detail in that one and from what I can see, his crown resembles a "mohawk"...Nice one Gary!:)
