When do you think you will get that lens in?

580 flash is out for 3 weeks. I assume you mean the 70-200L 2.8 IS which will be back after a few week voyage on Saturday,Monday or Tuesday. Depending how fast the USPS driver goes. Im located in Central Jersey ( Jackson - Same town as Six Flags Great Adventure ).

That's exactly my question, but I was thinking about a 500mm or 600mm prime.

I dont currently dont rent out the larger lenses do to shipping fees. But I know Roger at lensrentals.com does.
