CANON 30D BACK TO DEALER STOPPED FOCUSSING!

Hi Everyone,
Just about to take a lovely action shot of a farmer ploughing his field with seagulls around him and my 30D Camera will not focus. No matter what lens it will not focus. Bought it back in June in Jeresey, so now got to send it back to dealer anyone else had this problem?:(

maybe u had lens in manual focus mode?... just checkin

Have you reset the custom functions to factory settings before sending it off? Things like Custom Function 4 being accidentally set could cause the camera to not focus with the original buttons...

have just packed it up now! I will unpack and check that right away . I assume you do that by just going into clear settings in the tools? Yes I have have cleared the custom settings and the camera settings no difference but thanks for you help.
