this is the first shot i've taken that fits into the 'people' category. it's also the first photo i've posted with my new Rebel XT. (all previous photos were taken with my 'regular' Rebel).

This photo was taken at a bonfire at a forward deployed location in the middle east. A buddy and I were taking hundreds of shots from all angles, using all sorts of different settings trying to figure out what we were doing. (we are both brand new owners of the XT's) i'm pretty satisfied with how this came out, but am always interested in hearing in ways to improve!

i believe this was taken in Shutter Priority (1/100 maybe) and ISO 800 or 1600, i honestly can't remember.

This an interesting image you have. While the fire was burning fiery, the two firefighters seems to be very relax. Great capture, technically very good. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy...
