Ah, The Hawks are back!

In my area - Maine coast - in late spring and summer the hawks move into the woods, now that they are done with raising their young. Saw this guy this AM hunting along the road - f6.3 at 1/1000, iso 400, spot meter, manual, hand held - c/c please - Bob

Nice perfect shot Bob, shows excellent detail in the markings on the plumage, well done.

Bob, what is PI? plum island? if it is, i was there yesterday and i did see 2 merlins and 1 braoad wing hawk but they were too far away...
