You don`t succeed with these little blighters I was more than tempted to give up ! Very similar to trying to get shots of Long Tailed Tits in that not only are they rarely still but they won`t come out of the reeds/long grass. Not that I can blame them I suppose.

Tony, Don`t know if it is the same thing but I know them as Bearded Tits. Anyway hell of a job to find them and then to get a shot is a bonus !

What a pair of cute birds. I know what you mean when the bird hangs out in the reeds and won't come out. That's frustrating sometimes but also keeps the hobby exciting.:)

They are named Bearded tits snappa but they are specialist reedbeds, so others call them Bearded Reedling.
