As my friends were leaving to go to the airport to go back home, I made them sit by a window so I could take a few shots. The shots after this one had a reflector to take out shadows, but of course they did not have the expression on both the mommy and baby that I liked. The image has been cropped to a 11x14 ratio. Please C&C.

I hate adjusting photos for the paper I'm printing on only having to readjust to make them appear right on the web. I always like the paper adjusted shot better. The more I adjust it for the paper the harder it seems to adjust it later for the web. I guess I don't have the patience it takes to do it twice all the time, but printing is all I really care about.

Second image added here after post 8 for comparison.

Here's the untouched jpg original. The one above was altered from a RAW image.

If you ask me, the first one is fine just the way it is. With a photo like that, I think the shadows can be overlooked. In fact, I think it adds to the photo IMHO. I am sure she is going to love it.

I like the colours in the original a bit better also. Maybe take off a bit of the red hue and it'll be great.

I really like the first one.

I just got my first pair of glasses that I didn't think I needed. I apologize to anybody in the past year that I said their pictures were out of focus lol.

Thanks for the comments. I just learned an easier way to do something although not perfect. The first post has been modified to show it.

The first image is one I had modified from the edited for printing by readjusting levels for web viewing.

The second image I converted the color space to sRGB prior to saving for the web and all the adjustement were done for me. This image has been made a little brighter than the one before since I made changes since my last post. I printed too versin to allow them to pick. One with a little more contrast and saturation and one with a little less.
