Went to the Albany Mudflats after work and saw a group of juvenile
Red-necked Phalarope come into the marshy area. I had the 20D with
400 f5.6L, and shot at ISO 400, f6.3, AV mode (1/1000-1/640 sec).
1 Here they come
2 Coming for a landing
3 Don't come near me!
4 I showed him
5 A little further up the shore I found a lone juvenile Red Phalarope
While I was there, I saw a bird sitting on an old light post, but couldn't
make it out. I took a few shots to see if I could identify it later. It turned
out to be a Belted Kingfisher. I guess I'll be going back to see if I can get
a few better shots.
