This guy was flying over the zoo and scaring the small birds in the Lorikeet display to pieces. They were all huddling together. This shot is from FAR away, using 200 L and 1.4 extender.

Do you mean it isn't a redtailed hawk? I did look through the bird book but the stripes on the tail feathers didn't sound like a Redtail...

I'd say it's a Coop as well, nice flight shot. Poor birds in the zoo, as if they don't have enough to worry about!
