hi Rafael,
you asked me to look at your photos and give you my opinion about the composition but first let me say that all the 3 photos here are having an incredible "mood"... well done on that.
composition;
1st photo; you are having a "top to bottom" view here which causes you to lose the effect of childrens faces straight in to the camera (not looking right in to the camera of course, thats not good either). children's photos that are "top to bottom" view are making them look smaller than they are and distorts their faces/expression.
in this particular photo, the "top to bottom" view cut short the depth that the photo could have had if you kept the view looking deep in to the trai and the BG.
2nd photo; the only thing i would mention is that you cut the foot of the middle person.
3rd photo; i like the fact that the family is off-center but i would have liked to either see the beginning of the roof or not to see it at all, it is cut in the middle.

it seems that you had a great time there and you enjoyed it very much. good for you, that's what its all about.

ziggi

Thanks for you C&C. First of all let me say that I can understand every single pint of your C&C.

1. photo: I was walking backwards over big stones and water while the childrens "running" towards me very fast. I was really happy to survive this ;-)a It was hard to get the right shot here under this circumstances. Sad...

2. photo: Yeah, that feet is not good. I must train my eye a little bit more...

3. photo: It's a little bit like with the first photo. I simply don't have enough time to get the right moment and to think about the best view.

Thanks

Cheers Rafael

Great series, the 2nd one is my favorite, not sure why though. Some great people captures, I think these are much stronger images than the landscapes (tho I like the 1st landscape alot). Thanks for sharing.

I dont know exactly. The clothes are truly black (if this matters) but I remember that they call themself "Miao" or "Meo" which could be another word for hmong. But, as I said before, I am not sure.

Greetings, Rafael
