Bay-Breasted Warbler posing.

This warbler was perched in the same tree as the Northern Parula I posted earlier. I did not have to move one step! Talk about killing two birds with one stone;) . It stayed in this same position for about 15-20 seconds, giving me some time to chimp the histogram and then shoot some more shots.

Both shots: 1/640, f8, ISO400, 400mm, -1/13 EC

Wonderful shots Dan, they are very crisp and vivid. Seems like you had some great light there for this set. The details are thre, the subject looks good. Nicely done! :)

IMHO the lighting looks a little harsh. What time of day did you take the shot?

It's true that it looks harsh, but it was taken at about 7:00PM, in fading sun (really!:lol: ) . Thanks to all who've commented...

Another lovely warbler shot... man, I am getting jelous of you guys with all these nice shots. And then the winter will come and you will get all these snowies... I must make my way out there this winter for the winterlude :)
