Yeah the f/4 is definitely not a bad lens at all... But it sure makes you want the IS... hehe Show with both, borrowed my friend's 2.8 IS and am now about to buy myself one after owning and selling the f/4

I'm trying to avoid seeing and or touching the 2.8 IS for fear of the desire to instantly upgrade. I know I'll eventually do it, but I just can't right now. I think my wife would kill me if I did. :)

Use the f4 for a year or so, botch some shots, then explain to your wife how much better they would be if you only just had the f2.8 IS.....it might work :)
