Wow, fantastic photos of a beautiful raptor! I have not heard of the name before. The in flight amazing. Shows the hook bill clearly. Love #2 as well, clean bg beautiful perch, just wish the subject not too much in the center of the frame. Still a great series. Nice job Paul.

Hi Paul,
two great captures, both show good details on the bird and #2 I like the composition, only thing IMO is a little more room in the direction the bird is looking (on right side in # 1 and on left side in # 2)

Wow, beautiful shots. Was this near a marsh? I have caught quick glimpses of a medium sized hawk, very dark brown over in color, coming swooping down over the marsh. I have not got a decent picture of it yet.
