Another inspiring morning in the Japanese wilderness.

I think you put it into words the best because I am still struggling with what more I can say about this.

I just keep coming back with my mouth wide open lol.

That is a very striking picture - you have combined 4 elements, the Sun, trees, a volcano, and the haze layer, into a colorful piece of art.

I expect to see a couple of X-Wing an A-Wing fighters climb into the sky there, with maybe one soldier on lookout duty with his binoculors  (ok, the Star Wars fans will get that one...)

Excellent shot, and the colours are amazing.

The colours are amazing and the tree silhuettes are spliting the image in different parts, which works very well with the bg also.

Excellent work and stunning colours...even more impressive considering the minimum post processing.

I could look at this all day :)

Well, you deserve it. Not only was your technique flawless, but your timing couldn't have been any better.

I'd love to have this one hanging on my wall.

Thanks again JT! Actually, it's being enlarged and framed at this very moment. It'll be displayed in 4 different galleries around Japan before I can get it back and hang it on my own wall.

WOW! Beautiful image, colors are just fantastic and composition excellent. Very nice work. Just lovely.

Strange concepts people have but I never would have considered seeing Japan and wilderness in the same sentence. Shows how little I know about Japan, huh?

Thanks for your kind comments Dave! Of course Japanese wilderness is not on the scale of that in Alaska for example. Still, most people here live in the coastal areas and so there are some places inland which remain sparsly populated; probably not enough sushi.
