I was wondering if when looking through the viewfinder the image moves or jumps when the IS steadys the image. I haven't noticed it. This is my first IS lens. (70-200)
I can hear it working.

You won't see the image "jump" as soon as you turn it on, you'll just see things enter a bit of a dream-land.
