I was at Leighton Moss RSPB resever earlier this week and sadly (apart from the long tailed-tits) there wasn't much about, apart from black-headed gulls!

Going for the reflections shot.

These are very good shots of the immature black-headed gulls Damian. The first shot has a fantastic reflection. The second is also good to see how the gull is doing a balancing act on the tree by use of it's wings and feet, well done.

Thanks Tony. These were taken at 400mm - I took some at 800mm but like these a whole lot more.

A Couple of nice one's it's not often you see a gull on a log - thinking about it this is the first one i think .

Thanks guys. Rob, these logs are placed in front of the hides so the 'public' can get a look at the birds. There is often plenty to see - but on this occasion just gulls and one Shoveler.
