How exactly does the MT-24EX Macro flash fit on the lens front? Will I be able to use it on a non Canon lens with a 67mm filter size.

Thanks,
Brent

Did no one get back to you?
All you need is a 67-72mm step-up ring and the Canon 72mm macro-lite adaptor ring. The 24EX clamps to the channel on the adaptor. Canon sells a few sizes of the adaptor, but it's easiest to buy the largest, 72mm, and use step rings. Try and buy good solid rings. The cheap aluminum ones stick to the adaptor. Brass rings are better.

Thanks,

Canon do 3 macrolite adaptor rings with the microlite attachment lip one side and a standard filter thread the other, sizes are 52, 58 and 72mm, they are not very expensive, about 12UKP.

For a 67mm thread you will need to add a stepdown ring. Note the "natural" size of the two macro flashes is 58mm so lenses with larger max ap than that might vignett wide open, but for macro you will be stopping down so that will no be a problem.
