Hi Paul,
what a shot and you deserve it with your efforts, IMO it is the angle that makes it and the other Pelican in the background, very beautifull shot the Pelicans would be proud of you:)

Love this .. nice method!

I used to snorkel in the Great lakes and dive from a distance to get close enough to the Loons to see them dart away.. "Flying" under water! Very cool.
