Sigma 17-70 : Is there any Vignetting

Hi

I bought my Sigma 17-70 today and here are test shots. NO Post processing just converted RAW to JPG using Digital Photo Prof.

@ 17mm, F4, 1/60, ISO 400

I am not an "expert".

I think these are flash shots.

It will be impossible to tell what darkness in the corners is caused by lens vignetting and what is caused by light fall off from the flash.

Here is a test report that gives the actual vignetting for this lens.

If you want to check for vignetting with your copy, take an image of someting that has very even lighting over the entire frame, and do not use a flash.

Mine did not vignette. Well, only when I had the lens hood on wrong :D

Dear Tee

Can you advise me how to shoot vignette free shots. I bought this lens in anticipation that it is a FAST lens and I'll get sharpest and best images at wide Angle and also I saw high quality images without Vignetting in another thread here.
