It does look a lot less colorful on here than in real life. The color is a lot more rich...but other than that...suggestions? This was taken outdoors all natural light.

Woah, her eyes are huge!

I copied the photo into photoshop so I could see the original colors. Suppose to be much deeper red right?

I might try darkening the hair a tad to bring more attention to her face.

But as you know, i'm new to the people picture taking :)

Can't get over how huge her eyes are though, would def take advantage of that whenever I could. Very rare feature to have large eyes, and a beautiful face.

I'm no expert by any means. I like them but there's something I just can't put my finger on that's off just a little. They might be a little soft. :)

I don't know about others but I love the sepia. Those colors tones are just great. What did you use to convert to sepia?

Thank you! I honestly don't remember which program (I use a couple different ones) that I used. I'm thinking I probably did the sepia off of the raw imaging processor that came with my camera.

As far as the images appearing soft...In real life they are very crisp. They didn't convert here very well. I lost a ton of color tone, too. Dang it...

Sepia is one of my favorites, especially with people in them. Their facial expressions add to the "classic" feel too. Try it without the person looking into the camera. I'm no professional, but just a though :]

Nice set of images of a beautiful girl, the compositions are good as are the exposures. The loss of quality is probably due to the colour space you're choosing when posting. I use sRGB1966 in PS and posting, result no loss in quality. The use of a wide angle lens in the first shot does make her eyes look very big and her head elongated a little, but the shot is good nonetheless.

I love sepia toning. I think your original shot in sepia is magnificent, It has much more impact than the various color versions, and her eyes are awesome.

How did you acheive the sepia effect?

Thanks everyone! I have a wide angle lens but have never used it. I was using my 28-70mm lens on those shots. Her eyes really are that huge...LOL!! (still laughing out loud).

I absolutely LOVED the redo of my photograph!!! Wonderful!! Wonderful!! I just barely got photoshop and need to learn how to use the tools. I can do pretty much nothing on there!! It's overwhelming. I guess I'll need to take a class. Thanks so much for the ideas! I canNOT wait to get to learn some good photoshop tricks!

Might want to pickup "adobe photoshop cs2 for photographers"

Very thick, very detailed book... Most of which is probably way over your head right now. Very good book though.

I'm not digging the red tones on the first pic. It's a nice image, but the coloring is just not my style. Love your compositions in all. I adore the shot that waldemar played with. It was great to begin with and I like the jazzed up version too.

I second the rec on that book, the author is Scott Kelby. I am not technically savvy at all and it is easy for me to understand. Keep posting. I like your shots. :)
