Thanks for the definition. What do you call a photography how snaps film, has to develop, and then reshoots because he couldn't chimp?

Actually, the term "chimping" refers to the noise a photographer makes when reviewing a just captured image. You know, "oh, oh, oh". Sounds just like a chimpanzee!

Myself, I've never done that! (yeah, right!)

it always makes me chuckle when I see people with their p & s at a zoo chimping with the ooohhing and aaahhhiinng over a photo they are viewing on like a 1 inch screen... I like the concept of this shot... Nice work !
