Bugger!
I tried to inbed the images by clicking on the Insert Picture icon and pasting in the URL for the images, but it didn't work. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
The images are on Flickr

Thanks!!

Not sure what you did wrong. I just got the properties of each pictures and went straight to the website.

I really prefer the colour portrait over the black and white one. She's very pretty and I don't think the b&w shot does her justice.

Hi! How did you get the properties of the pics?? I can't see anything at all in the original post! Wierd!

Anyhoo, I was going to go on to say, the B&W one is just a little bit of fun, I know the whole B&W with a bit of colour thing has been done to death, but I just got my new computer and wanted to have a play in PS!

The colour one is one of the first ones I took with the new Elinchroms, and I messed with the levels and stuff in PS, but what I really wanted to know was, what else in PSE could I use to improve the look of the shot?

Thanks!

I right clicked on the red X, clicked on properties, then copy/paste the path. I was able to view both photos. I agree with Cleo on the color photo. I like BW with the eyes in color if it is subtle. I have not seen one with the lips colored that looked right to me, just my preference I'm sure. Keep playing with your Post Processing, its great fun and you only improve with each try. Keep posting :)

you have to use the [IMG] tag provided by POTN copy this and add your url to the images inbetween [IMG}url that should work for you. If you have any more questions go to the very bottom of the message page and click on the img code on link.

on flickr, go to your photo, click on the "all sizes" button...then see the bottom link (on whatever size you want to use)...copy and paste that into the insert image box...it should work.
