I think this is a nice portrait & I like how you've lit the subject. I'm not sure about the blue background though & I would love to see this in B&W, I'm sure it would look ace!

Nice portrait, but I think it would be better with a little more luminance difference between the face and the background to add some pop. The short lighting works well on the cowboy, maybe a little more light, keeping the same ratios.

Nice work on handling the glasses, too.

Iron the background. Open the lens to blur it.
