I was playing with new (to me) methods of editing portraits and this is one of the results:

IMAGE NOT FOUND
HTTP response: 404 | MIME changed to 'text/html' | Byte size: ZERO

The shot was taken some time ago using a 50mm 1.8 and a single 550ex off camera.

I quite like the image, which is unusual, but my wife is not too sure.

Comments welcome.

Paul

Like the shot. Interesting editing gives the image a dark, curious quality. Could easy be a shot from a movie as others mentioned.

Fantastic self portrait, you would never know if you hadn't told us. The lighting is spot on and gives great modelling and brings out a lot of character.

This is a very interesting (self) portrait, Paul. Do you mind sharing your editing methods?
