flew over my house, never saw one before, just ran,grabbed the camera and shot. (just like a P&S ) A week later I found out it was at a local airport for tours, and rides-for a fee. Completley restored.

It's a small airport about 5 miles form my house. It was a thrill to see it in the sky. Thanks for sharing the close up.

Nine O Nine I got to see that one about 15 years ago. Aluminum Overcast coming in Gwinnett County AP Friday-Sunday Hope it makes it.

great catch, every time I hear an aircraft coming I grab my camera........never seen a B-17 though......

I got to fly on the Aluminum Overcast a few years back. What an experience! I took my boys out of school on day 2 of the school year. When my oldest told his teacher why he was going to be out of school for the day, the teacher told him he better bring pictures to prove it!
